About Koke
Yirgacheffe, located in Ethiopia’s Gedeo Zone, is famous for its rich red-brown soil and heirloom coffee varieties grown by small-scale, multi-generational farmers under native shade trees. The region is known for producing clean, vibrant coffees with bright, fruit-forward flavors.
Koke is a washing station within Yirgacheffe where ripe cherries are handpicked every 8–10 days and naturally processed with great care. Cherries are slowly dried on raised beds for about 21 days under tarps to preserve clarity and complexity. Koke has earned a strong reputation for consistently delivering high-quality coffees that reflect the unique character of southern Ethiopia.
